1. Do you travel for destination weddings?

Yes, I do! I’m always open to traveling for destination weddings. There’s something really special about capturing love stories in new places, and I’d love to hear more about your plans. Travel fees may vary depending on the location, so feel free to reach out and we can chat through the details together.

2. Do you help with planning our engagement session?

Yes, absolutely! I love helping plan engagement sessions so everything feels easy and natural for you. I can help with location ideas, timing, outfit guidance, and overall planning so the session feels like you.

If you’re planning a surprise proposal or a secret engagement shoot, I can also help coordinate everything behind the scenes — from choosing the perfect spot to making sure I’m in place at the right time so the moment stays a surprise and gets captured perfectly.

3. What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

To secure your booking, a retainer is required and is non-refundable. This ensures your date and time are reserved just for you. If you need to reschedule, I’m happy to do my best to accommodate based on availability, as long as I’m given enough notice. Life can be unpredictable, so I just ask that you reach out as soon as possible so we can work together to find a new date that fits.

If the weather doesn’t cooperate, especially here in Michigan, we can always reschedule or adjust plans as needed to make sure you still get the best possible experience and lighting for your session. A little rain can also make for a really magical shoot, so we’ll always keep an open mind depending on the conditions.

4. Do you offer digital files, prints, or albums?

I offer high-resolution digital files with every session so you can easily download, share, and print your photos. You’ll also have the option to order professional prints and albums if you’d like something more tangible. I always recommend printing your images — there’s something special about having your memories in your hands instead of just on a screen.

5. Do you have a recommended videographer?

You’re more than welcome to hire any videographer you feel is the right fit for your day. I love working alongside other creatives, and I’m always happy to coordinate with them to make sure everything flows smoothly and your photo and video coverage complement each other perfectly.

6. Can I request specific poses or shots?

If there are specific poses, moments, or inspiration you have in mind, I always encourage you to share them with me. I love when clients bring ideas so we can make the session feel personal to you. I’ll also guide you throughout the shoot and suggest poses as we go so everything feels natural, relaxed, and true to your style.

7. How long till I receive the final photos?

You can expect your final gallery within 2–4 weeks after your session. For larger or full experience sessions with more images, it may take closer to the 4-week mark, while smaller mini sessions are often delivered a bit sooner. I always take the time to carefully edit each image so everything feels polished, consistent, and true to your session.

I also send a small set of sneak peeks with my larger photo packages within 24 hours, so you don’t have to wait long to relive a few of your favorite moments right away.

8. Can we meet before the session?

I’m always open to meeting before the session. A quick coffee meetup is actually one of my favourite ways to connect beforehand — it helps us get to know each other, chat through your ideas, and make sure you feel comfortable and excited for your shoot.
